Inkle Weaving at Shake Rag Alley, Mineral Point Wisconsin
Learn to warp and weave on an Inkle Loom.
On day one, you’ll weave a lovely Latvian Flower pattern on the Inkle loom. On day two, you’ll
choose your favorite colors, and then design and weave a beautiful band. During the workshop,
you’ll learn how to set up the loom and weave a band that you can use as a belt, bag strap or
trim. Ideas for projects using your woven band will be included in the workshop. No weaving
experience necessary.

Weave your own rug and learn about how your Picket Fence Weavers make their beautiful rugs!
Spend a few hours with Jennie Hawkey to learn how the looms work, then weave your own rug to take home. These rugs will be made of recycled blue jeans and you can add some color to make the rug your own.
You will be surprised at how quickly you can learn to weave on our rug looms and Jennie will be there to guide and help you!
